About Tereza

Born in the Czechia, jewellery designer Tereza Bílá approaches her work through a deeply personal connection to memory, heritage, and craft. A self-taught designer, she developed her practice through hands-on experience and close collaboration with skilled artisans, building an independent path shaped by authenticity and respect for traditional techniques.

She is also the founder of the jewellery brand Still life and is currently developing her eponymous fine jewellery collections, created between Europe and Asia. Her work reflects a commitment to originality, high craftsmanship, and a slower, more intentional approach to production.

Rooted in childhood memories of her family’s countryside farmhouse, Bílá’s designs reinterpret elements of Slavic cultural heritage through a contemporary lens. Floral ornaments, symbolic motifs, and sculptural forms inspired by traditional objects and architecture become modern pieces that express identity, strength, and emotional connection. Through her collections, she explores the idea of jewellery as something personal - objects that carry meaning, memory, and a sense of belonging.

Her work balances softness with structure, tradition with modernity, and storytelling with everyday wearability, creating pieces that reflect quiet confidence and individuality.
